Gilmartins is a privately-owned main contractor, with vast experience in the Social Housing, Health and Defence sectors. The Board is led by Founder and Managing Director Terry Gilmartin and has been established for over 20 years.
We thrive on the contribution our projects make to local communities and we have delivered a new Children's Nursery to the Royal Berkshire Community, a new Cardiology Suite for L&D Hospital and a complete refurbishment to Maryland Care Home in St Albans which provides care for Dementia, Physical disabilities and Sensory impairments.
Our Vision and Values
Gilmartins’ philosophy is simple; we build our business on long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, customers and suppliers.
Our business ethos is all about providing a personal service which helps deliver the highest levels of customer care; whilst at the same time constantly developing market leading systems and processes to create efficiency savings for our clients and a better customer experience.
Our Commitment to the Environment
As an environmentally conscious organisation, we recognise that our operations result in waste emissions and the generation of waste. We are positively focused on reducing the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment, in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
We are accredited to ISO 14001 and as a part of that process we have a fully functioning and auditable Environmental Management System (EMS).
