Gilmartins have signed up to the ‘Make a Stand Supporters Pledge’ in support of the ‘Make a Stand Campaign’, which has been created by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in partnership with Women’s Aid and the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance, in order to stand up against all forms of domestic abuse.

The Make a Stand Supporters Pledge Campaign is aimed at organisations that work in or closely with the housing sector but are not providers of homes. Gilmartins is passionate about customer care and putting residents first, and as contractors we enter people’s homes daily, so we are better placed than most to recognise any areas of concern.  Our robust procedures ensure that all of our employees are fully trained in how to identify signs of domestic abuse and how to go about reporting them.

Gilmartins are committed to our pledge in support this essential campaign which will not only help to raise awareness, but will also provide assurance to our customers and residents that personal safety in the home is a priority to us and we will take any necessary action to protect anyone who is deemed to be at risk.
